When you want a simple email marketing strategy to use with Social media you need to think about how you will get leads to build your email list.  This is where my email marketing strategy really works well.

Use Social Media for Leads – One of the best places to start for your email marketing strategy is to use social media to generate email leads.  It makes your approach on sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and more very easy.  You are always doing the same thing – Trying to get people to sign up on your email list.

I know this is where people get stuck with social media marketing.  They just do not know what to do.  Well if you have a good email marketing strategy it will become much easier.  Just use social media as a lead source for your email list.

What to email People?  This is a question I get asked quite a bit.  People say “Bryan I do not know what to email to the people on my list”.  One of the best things you can do is find your best blog posts.  Put them into your auto reply sequence.  Have these emails go out to new people who just signed up for your email list every few days.  This way people will start getting to know, like, and trust you.  By sending people your best blog posts you already know they will like the information.  Another trick is to send them links to other popular articles that they will find helpful.  Remember you do not always have to be the one providing good content.  A good system to use for email marketing is Aweber email marketing software.

Find A Good Balance.  In the video I talk about how often you should balance sending valuable content versus offers for your products or services.  With my email marketing strategy you do not want to just email out offers to your list.  People unsubscribe.  You will hit a point where the people leaving your list equals the number of people joining your list.  At this point you can not grow your email list.  I recommend you follow this formula:

1 Promotional email for every 2 content emails.

That will give you the right balance so people do not leave your email list.  An email marketing strategy is not hard to use provided you know what to do.  Use the tips above and you too will have a great email marketing strategy that will grow your email list using social media.
