Have you ever wanted to learn more about your ideal clients or customers? You may not know this but you can do it with Facebook for free. It is all done using Facebook Insights. In this video I tell you all about Facebook Insights and how you can use it to learn everything you ever wanted to know about your clients.
Facebook Insights How It Works
Facebook insights works by going over to the Facebook Ad Manager and picking “Audience Insights”.
One you do this you will be able to choose 3 types of audiences. I cover these in the video. I tell you to either load in your customers’ email and phone numbers or start letting Facebook tag your website visitors with a tracking pixel. Either way you will start building up an audience of your prospects and customers.
Next Facebook will analyze your customer list or website traffic. In the video I tell you more about how this works exactly. Once your list is analyzed Facebook will tell you an amazing amount of information about your audience. I cover a few of these in the video but here they are:
Location – Facebook insights will tell you in which countries your audience lives. This can be really helpful for figuring out where to market to people. You can learn a lot just from this one metric.
Age – Wouldn’t you like to know how old your prospects are? Well Facebook insights will tell you the exact age distribution of your clients and customers.
Gender – How many of your clients are male or female? Let Facebook insights beak this down for you so you know.
Education – Facebook insights will tell you the education of your clients or prospects. Did they go to college? Or do they tend to only graduate from high school?
House Hold Earnings – When it comes to pricing your products or services it is probably a good idea to know how much money your idea prospect makes. That way you can price accordingly. Facebook insights can tell you this with an amazing accuracy. Now you can finally see exactly how much your clients earn on a yearly basis.
Fan Pages They Like – This is a big one. Why? Because you can target the fans of other people’s pages with Facebook Ads. As long as you know the other fan pages they like you will be better able to get cheaper ad rates.
There are even more metrics you can learn about your audience with. It really does seem almost limitless. I talk about more of these metrics in the video. But I have listed a few of them above.
