How To Make Your Own Social Media Images Royalty Free
I used to search for images on image hosting sites like Flickr to try to find Social Media Images Royalty Free. What I later found out is it is very easy to just make your own social media images. Here is the simple process and free online tool I use to make mine (just like the one in this blog post). They look pretty good don’t they? It only took me a few minutes to make this graphic. I will show you exactly how I did it.
First head on over to a site called Canva.com . Canva is a free online graphic building tool. It’s amazing. How do they make money? They will sell you high quality images for $1. But you don’t need to use those. You can use Canva completely free. So go sign up for a free account at Canva.com
Here is the image I will show you how to make:
The first thing I do is create a custom dimension picture of 800 x 450. Canva has other pre-done sizes but I use this one because it has the right aspect ratio for most Social media platforms (think Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, etc..). So I use the same graphic for all these places.
Next I pick a random back ground. Does not really matter which one. I just pick a free one:
Then I change the color to something bright that will catch people’s attention
Next I add some Fancy text. Again I just pick the Free options
Finally I pick some free images and add them in. I use the Transparency setting to make it blend in. I usually type a word with the word “icon” after it. So here I typed in “Picture Icon”:
I might add a profile pic of myself or some logos I uploaded. You can snag graphics from images.google.com and load them into Canva.
When I am ready I can just click down load.
My Social media image is all set! That is all there is to it.
You will see that social media images that have your headline as text tend to work the best. Adding a bright color too will make them stand out. So go try what I just showed you. You Too will likely be surprised how quickly and easily you can create Social Media Images Royalty Free.
